Founder and Principal Consultant
Olivia Hickerson, CNP is the Founder and Principal Consultant of EmpowerTactics. She brings a calm clarity to complex challenges, helping nonprofit leaders reconnect with their vision while building the structure and strategy to get there.
With years of experience in grant writing, strategic planning, and operational development, Olivia partners with small to mid-sized nonprofits to untangle the day-to-day demands that keep teams stuck in survival mode. Her strength lies in translating big ideas into action-building out practical roadmaps that are both ambitious and achievable.
Her work is rooted in equity, collaboration, and sustainability. She understands the realities nonprofit leaders face because she’s lived them. Olivia works alongside clients, bringing in both a systems-level lens and a deep respect for community-rooted missions.
